Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the AA8 Corporation website (aa8corp.org), submitting any form, enrolling in any program, or using any service offered by AA8 Corporation, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our website or services.

These terms apply to all visitors, students, parents, volunteers, donors, and business clients of AA8 Corporation.

About AA8 Corporation

AA8 Corporation is a registered nonprofit organization (EIN: 99-3227068) based in Oxford, North Carolina. We provide free and premium STEM, AI, robotics, and technology education to communities in Granville, Vance, and surrounding counties. Our mission is to make technology education accessible regardless of zip code or economic background.

Program Enrollment & Participation

By enrolling in any AA8 Corporation program, you agree to the following:

• All information provided during enrollment is accurate and complete
• Participants will treat staff, volunteers, and fellow participants with respect
• AA8 Corporation reserves the right to remove any participant from a program for conduct that disrupts the learning environment or violates our community standards
• Program schedules, locations, and content are subject to change — we will make reasonable efforts to notify enrolled participants of any significant changes
• Enrollment in free programs is subject to availability and does not guarantee placement
• For participants under 18, a parent or guardian must provide contact information and assumes responsibility for the participant's conduct

Premium Services

For premium services including website development, AI business optimization, software development, graphic design, client AI upskilling, website auditing, and custom STEM workshops:

• All engagements are quote-based and begin with a formal agreement or statement of work
• No work will begin until both parties have agreed in writing on scope, deliverables, and pricing
• AA8 Corporation retains ownership of all proprietary tools, frameworks, and methodologies used in delivering services unless otherwise agreed in writing
• Client-provided materials and content remain the property of the client
• Payment terms will be specified in the individual service agreement
• Submitting a quote request form does not constitute a binding agreement

SMS Text Messaging Terms

When you opt in to receive SMS messages from AA8 Corporation, you agree to the following terms:

• Message types: You will receive non-marketing SMS messages including program updates, class schedules, event locations, registration confirmations, and community reminders
• Message frequency: Message frequency may vary. You may receive up to 4 messages per month
• Message and data rates: Standard message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan. AA8 Corporation is not responsible for any charges from your carrier
• Opt-out: Reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe. You will receive one final confirmation and no further messages
• Help: Reply HELP for assistance or contact us at edunton@aa8corp.org
• Supported carriers: Compatible with most major US carriers. Carrier is not liable for delayed or undelivered messages
• No sharing: Your phone number will never be sold, shared, or rented to any third party

Website Use

By using aa8corp.org, you agree to:

• Use the website only for lawful purposes
• Not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the website or its systems
• Not use automated tools to scrape, copy, or harvest content from the website
• Not submit false or misleading information through any form on the site

AA8 Corporation reserves the right to deny access to any user who violates these terms.

Intellectual Property

All content on aa8corp.org — including text, images, graphics, logos, program materials, and curriculum — is the property of AA8 Corporation unless otherwise noted. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without prior written permission from AA8 Corporation.

The AA8 Corporation name, logo, and brand marks are protected. Unauthorized use is prohibited.

Photography & Media Release

AA8 Corporation may photograph or record program activities for use in nonprofit communications, grant reports, social media, and marketing materials. By enrolling in a program or attending an event, you grant AA8 Corporation permission to use images or recordings in which you or your child appear for these purposes.

If you do not consent to photography or recording, please notify program staff in writing prior to participation.

Limitation of Liability

AA8 Corporation provides its website and services "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, AA8 Corporation shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our website, programs, or services.

AA8 Corporation's total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by you (if any) for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of AA8 Corporation services shall be resolved in the courts of Granville County, North Carolina.

Changes to These Terms

AA8 Corporation may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Updated terms will be posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date. Continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
