All community programming is offered at no cost to participants. Funded through grants, partnerships, and community support because access to technology education should never depend on a zip code.
Kids Robotics Lab
Free Hands-on introduction to robotics, engineering principles, and problem-solving through building and programming real robots. Grades K–7th
Teen Tech Lab
Free hands-on deeper dives into coding, AI fundamentals, digital fabrication, robotics, 3-D printing, and tech career exploration for high schoolers. Grades 8th–12th

Digital Literacy Program

Granville & Vance County Building tomorrow's engineers today hands-on robotics, teamwork, and community through the 4-H program.
Community First
Granville and Vance Counties face some of the most severe educational gaps in North Carolina. Vance ranks dead last in the state in math proficiency at just 9.4% compared to a 37% state average with a 31.3% teacher vacancy rate that leaves classrooms without qualified educators. Across both counties, STEM credentials are the most critically underproduced relative to actual job openings, while over 14% of young adults ages 16–24 are neither working nor in school. AA8's free programs exist to close that gap; putting technology, robotics, and real career skills directly into the hands of the young people these systems have left behind.
